On Saturday 1st March 2025 the Portreath Parish Office and Community Hub celebrated its grand opening with a ceremony attended by numerous officials from local organisations, community leaders and residents.
The opening ceremony began with words of support and enthusiasm from Chairman, Councillor Simon Goodwin, who highlighted the importance of the new building and the long-term benefits this facility would bring.
Councillor Ian Stewart also shared his excitement about the new building, noting the successful collaboration between the Parish Council and other organisations to bring the vision of the office and community hub to life.
The ceremony reached it's peak when the first clerk of Portreath Parish Council, Mrs Oates, officially declared the building open.
After the formalities, refreshments were served and guests took the opportunity to mingle and enjoy the vibrant new space.
The new building stands as a symbol of progress and is ready to serve the community for years to come.
