Cormac Solutions Ltd, on behalf of Cornwall Council, is inviting comments on a proposal to construct improved pedestrian crossing facilities near the public toilets on the Sea Front road, Portreath.  On the east side of the road, the kerb and footway will be lowered to carriageway level. On the opposite side - where there is an existing dropped kerb - they will construct two traffic islands to protect the dropped kerb from obstruction by parked vehicles.

If you have any comments to make on the proposals, I would be grateful to receive them no later than 22 September 2024.

To respond to this consultation, you can either:

  1. Use Cornwall Council’s Consultation finder, an on-line facility for viewing and responding to traffic consultations. This can be accessed by visiting www.cornwall.gov.uk/TrafficConsult. Once registered you will be able to submit responses to this and other current traffic consultations.
  2. E-mail the Technical Team at technical@cormacltd.co.uk, quoting the scheme name and reference, and indicating your support or objection to the proposals.
